TangoHelena announces a Weekend Workshop with
Alex Krebs

Lauren Coleman of Have Fun Dancing! in Bozeman is one of the founders of tango in Montana, and is a great dancer and teacher of tango (and of a lot of other dances). 

The next level 3 tango class will be on ganchos.  We'll be covering follower ganchos and leader ganchos, low ganchos and high ganchos, enganches, using ganchos to express musicality, and who knows what else!  Phil Robison and Grace Hodges will teach this as a two-class series on Friday March 5th and Friday March 19th, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, practica til 9:00

Calling all Tangoers!

The TangoHelena Library is open and ready for business.

However, we have a very limited supply of CD’s and DVD’s for use. If anyone has old Tango movies (whether they be for instruction for entertainment) or Tango CD’s that you don’t want anymore, if you could donate them to our Tango Library that would be greatly appreciated!

Please help the TangoHelena community grow and flourish by helping with the expansion of its new Library!

A reminder:  our next class series begins this Thursday, February 25th, and runs through April 1st (no fooling!).  As usual, classes are at the beautiful Allegro Dance Studio (3750 N. Montana Avenue).

Saturday, January 16th, 8:30pm to midnight, at the Montana Club Rathskellar

The next level 3 tango class will be on milonga.  Patrick Marsolek and Grace Hodges will teach this as a three-class series from Friday January 15th through Friday January 29th, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, followed by a practica until 9:00 pm.  The cost will be $39 for this three-week series ($36 for Friends of TangoHelena), payable the first night of class.  Each class in the series will build on the class before,
